2015: Hong Kong (Pre-Day 01)- Departing to Hong Kong

Last winter (almost winter time, around end of November to early December, but the winter was comparable to UK summer), I went to Hong Kong (HK) for a short 8 days holiday backpacking trip in order to clear my leave. Yayy~ Well, to be honest, it was an 8 days minus 2 days (one does not consider those 2 days as it was departing for HK and departing back to Penang, Malaysia).

How Hong Kong dollars look like~
(excuse mua, I don't know why it ended up sideways after uploading although it was pretty much at the right position before uploading.)
HKD100= RM56.82

Break time with McCafe Cappucino, Red Velvet cheese cream cake and macaron before departure to KL

Be alluring :D

Pre-ordered flight meal . I think it was around RM15~
Usually, I love unlimited food during flight journey as one would be dehydrated and hungry along the journey.
Budget flight to and fro costed us around RM1100/pax.

Alas, we have reached the terminal around 8-9pm (flight delayed as it was raining heavily in KL with thunderstorm). We were starting to get cranky as we were already been awaken for more than 24 hr. Awaiting for skybus to transfer us to the arrival airport.

Got this Octopus card called (Pat tat tou) for traveling in public transportation; HKD100.

 In order to reach Mongkok, take the train to Tsing Yi Station and interchange by taking Tung Chung Line to Lai King Station. At Lai King Station, take Tsuen Wan Line to Mong Kok Station. Our hotel was just 10 min walk from station.

  Our lil' tiny hotel known as Harbour Hotel at 968 Canton Road, Mong Kok.
Lil' budget 7 nights stay in this hotel costed us around RM1150/pax,

 End of pre-day 01 and I'll be right back~
